[edit] Information

Cameras follow the day-to-day workings of this world famous and iconic building, as clergy, vergers and choir prepare for major services and state events during the festive period. Christmas is the most intense time of year at the Abbey and the season begins with Advent. Minor canon Bob is in charge of this dramatic service, which involves multiple candles being held aloft to represent the light of Christ coming into the world. Elsewhere, the choristers rehearse for the Christmas carol concerts to come, and the spirit of Christmas is truly felt around the grounds when the huge Christmas tree arrives.
